Her Ladyship has expressed an interest in hunting with me next season. She needs woman-specific camo.
any recommendations? First Light doesn't have her size (I'm thinking for Christmas) now. And especially something with purple in it!!!

King's Camo, First Lite, Prois all make camo clothing specifically for women. Kryptek also offers their men's clothes in sizes that will accommodate most women. My girlfriend wears a combination of King's (pants, shirts) and Kryptek ( pants, outerwear).

Man, all I can think to say is good luck! And seriously, I would put a picture of the First Lite pants in a box, or card, and tell her they're on their way! They are the best. pants. ever. I know because I tried on every hiking, outershell, skiing, hunting pant known to man! I finally got to the point where I said screw it, I'm wearing leggings in Montana. You can move in them, they don't fall down, and they go inside my boots nicely :) Now a bit about me. I'm 5'8. A true hourglass shape. Decently fit. According to my measurements, and the First Lite website, I should have ordered an XL. But I happened upon a L while in Montana and they fit perfectly. I honestly could probably get into the Mediums. Tops are easy. Pants are the hardest part of women's gear to me-most were cut really straight through the hips, or the rise was really low. That's why First Lite's are so awesome. They are cut great! I wear the First Lite Alturas Guide Pant, a Cabelas longsleeve sweatshirt in brown, a brown Kuhl fleece vest, patagonia base layers, and the First Lite Syringa Short. Some days, I wear a berry and plum plaid wool coat I purchased from cabelas.

Gift card to first lite for Christmas maybe? It's pretty much guaranteed they're going to have more inventory after the first of the year.
