Anyone heard of any wolves being shot in Wyoming since the delisting? Sure seemed as if the Feds thought for many years that they would all be exterminated immediately after being removed from the list. Those creatures are too keen for that to happen.
I talked to the game warden in Bondourant WY. He said that none in the area around there have been killed. I think the count in the state is 4 or 5 now. I know a lady at the local restaraunt was pretty excited about the opener but she must not have been to successfull.
I haven't heard of any being killed yet, but I expect that we will see more happen once winter hits and the elk are on the feed grounds. Most of that will happen within the predator zone though.
