7 miles (1200') w/ Tiny Elvis; our high elevation snow is hanging on by a thread

About what elevation is that, where the snow is?

Roughly 6000-6500" where the snow is still hanging on.

Snotel sites are certainly an useful tool when looking at snowpack (maybe the only tool???) but in Montana anyways, most are at 6000'+ which doesn't always tell the whole story. Typically this time of year we would have decent mid-elevation snow (and some places even low-elevation snow) on the ground. This year not so :(

Conditioning
Move for 40 minutes, BUT start adding other movements into your Aerobic Conditioning.

5 minutes of Rowing, Biking or running with 2 or 3 minutes of box jumps, jump rope, wallballs, burpees - keeping your HR between 24-26 beats per 10 sec while doing these movements. You will really have to test out the pace of movement to make sure you don't exceed 24-26 beats.
