Haven't posted in this thread in a while but thought I'd share a milestone. I used to be lean and strong but my life changed and I let myself get fat and weak. 31 weeks ago, I got back on the wagon using starting strength NLP program, then early intermediate programming, and have been running out the main lifts for a few weeks. This week I worked up ascending heavy singles to approximate true 1RM, and hit a few lifetime PRs. Very pleased considering my recovery has been crap since my kiddo was born few weeks ago.

age 29, 5'9", 225lbs
Press 185 (lifetime PR)
DL 415 (lifetime PR)
Bench 315 (lifetime PR)
Squat 405 (lifetime PR is 415 but that was over a decade ago in high school)

May try to max out on powerclean next week. At this point I'll probably transition into an intermediate program like 5/3/1.
 
5 rounds:
Goblet squat x5/3/1
Push ups x10
KB Swing x10
Pull ups x8
Walking Lunge x10
Farmers walk x90 ft

3.2 mile walk with 40# pack
 
4 miles (400’) with Tiny Elvis; saw a 2-3’ Ponderosa Pine snapped about 3-4’ up from Wednesday’s 80+ mph winds.
