Wod

Wife and I hiked 2000vert with 36lbs in under 3mi.

Did a deep, mobility circuit, 3 sets
Goblet squats- x 5
Slant board squats- x 5
Knees over toes lunges- x 5
Hanging Leg Raises/external rotation- 8/16

My oldest and his buddy went on a weekend shed hunt. His buddy found a pocket where he picked up 6 sets in about 200yds. Like a dream. Couple really good bulls. My youngest put on boo koo miles with a few WT to show for it.

Strength
Every 2 minutes, for 20 minutes (10 sets):
2 Clean Lift-Offs + Power Clean

Build over the course of the 10 sets to something heavy. A Clean Lift-Off is the first portion of the clean, from the ground to the knees. Keep your torso angle consistent through all phases of this lift-off, and pause 2-seconds at the knees each lift-off. After your second lift-off, reset and perform a power clean.

Conditioning
For Time:
Bike 50 Calories
25 Ground to Overhead @135

^ sorry to hear that; how did he break his leg?

5 miles (700') with my wife and Tiny Elvis this morning, this afternoon back to the gym

deadlifts 5/5/5+/amrap @ 65/75/85/65%
overhead press 5/5/5+/amrap @ 65/75/85/65%
chin-ups 30/28-26
core
my lower back was a little sore, but honestly it's almost always a little sore after deadlifts

Thanks!

We were playing at the park in our subdivision, he jumped up onto the bench, like he’s done plenty of times before, but this time his leg fell through one of the slats, in the process of trying to get it out he fell off the bench with his leg stuck in the slats, breaking his radius. Thanks God it wasn’t both bones! He hates having the cast on, but he’s adapting to getting around with 3 legs. He certainly doesn’t want to be cooped up all day like the vet says we should do, so we’re just limiting his movement and watching him.
