4 miles and 900' of gain with Tiny Elvis this evening. TE has found dozens of deer legs on our outings, but they've always been too big for him to pack(or drag) very far- until today. He found the very lower portion of a fawn leg and packed it for over two miles. I had a heck of a time getting him to drop it when we got to the truck :)

Our scouting mission paid off; found a way across this particular range which will save us 6-7 miles; got to try out two different routes north of this pass as a loop and found one to be much better (as in easier)- so overall a very successful weekend.

29 miles and 6800' of gain.
