Tiny Elvis and I got in a nice 3 miles on the trail before the sun came out- a very pleasant 55 degrees, sad that it'll climb into the 90's again

Starting to accumulate some smoke in the valley- two fires pretty close, one west, one north

Bored on lunch break so I did 100 push-ups and 20 pull/chin ups.
Shot rifles. Shot bow.
In my living room...
3x8 dumbbell bench press
3x8 one arm bent over row
5 pull ups
3x10 chest flys
2x8 bicep curls
2x8 tricep extensions
2x10 shoulder raises
3 30 sec plank holds.

AMRAP in 20 minutes of:

10 burpee box overs 24/20

20 calorie row

30 walking lunges

BARBELL ENDURANCE

12 minutes to establish a 1 RM squat clean & jerk

then

10 sets of:

2 squat cleans+1 jerk @ 85%

Yesterday was pretty bad, total time 11:06, rep scheme was 24-16-15-10-10-10-10-5. Time cap was 14 minutes, for every second over 14 minutes = 10 cals on assault bike.

5.5 miles early, roughly 1000' of gain, a really steep 1/2 mile down hill quad buster near the end

Tiny Elvis and I got in 3-ish miles early; there is a really steep section (tiptoe steep) that Elvis just crushes me on- I let him off leash so he can run it, but he'll stop occasionally to let me catch up :D

nice 4.5 miles on the trails before sunrise- comfortable upper 50's contrasted with our highs in the 90's by afternoon

going to do some longer lunge sessions later in the day

2.5 miles on the trails with my wife, oldest daughter, two grand kids and Tiny Elvis- a small platoon :)

6 miles with my 50# sandbag in my Exo. A little warm but a nice hike.
spent the PM at the bow range!

Shot a 3D tournament at the Air Force base in colo springs Saturday. They have a great 3D course and put on a great shoot.

Hiked the fire road yesterday. Overall fitness is in pretty good shape, September is coming fast, I'm ready for it.

got a dandy run (more hiking than running) in yesterday in the Crazies; it's a loop I came up with about 6 miles of off trail- mule deer, a couple of elk and some mtn goats

It's officially too damn hot to do any more pack hiking around here. I'm gonna start switching over to intervals on the track and mix in some of that SG email workout.

Hit 192lbs Friday morning, on pace for my goal of 190 by end of June.

Was a little wore from a sinful weekend so I did a quick blood pumper in the living room.

4 rounds of:
5 pull ups
15 push-ups
30 sec plank holds
12 squats with 50lb dumbbells in each hand.
