Did an extra lengthy warm up today, lower back was feeling pretty tight after yesterday’s deadlifts, warm up included fan bike, Cossack squats, push ups, air squats and RDLs.

I don’t usually go to failure on anything but that was the theme for today. For each set, perform 1-2 warm ups sets to find a working weight of 10-12 reps. Then 3 drop sets to failure of each:
Barbell strict press
Bent over barbell rows
DB bench press
Chin ups
Dips

Finished with accessory work of curls and skull crushers
 
sargent are you combining two lifts/day throughout the full cycle?
I'm on my 8th cycle right now. All but the 7th, I did one lift per session with accessories after the main lift, four sessions per week. The last cycle, I combined two lifts per session to minimize time in the gym during spring turkey season. The season closes tomorrow, so I'll probably go back to one lift per session starting next week. I always have done two lifts per session on deload weeks and will continue.
 
5 miles (700') with my wife and Tiny Elvis. The Bitterroot is our state flower and typically around here, sightings are relatively rare. It's a good day if we see a dozen or two, this year we're seeing hundreds in an outing—conditions must be highly favorable.
