Take my advice from years of doing this non sense. If you can be one and done, do it. I daily wore an explorer for over 20 years then starting collecting, looking back it was stupid since I was happy with one, not sure why the bug bit me to start a collection. Stupid.Checked the Rolex box off the list
I have the same one.
I put a sail cloth strap on it with deployment clasp. 22mm.
When you scratch the crystal there is a company that makes sapphire crystal replacements.

It's the only big boy watch I own, and I love it. My wife and brother teamed up and got it for me for my 28 (I think) birthday, and besides my wife, daughter, and dog would be one of my top priorities in a fire.I didn’t see tissot mentioned at all. I’ve been looking at their prx line, any feedback on those?

What model is this? I’m very keen on it..Added another seiko to the mix. Showed up yesterday in the mail.![]()

My only critique is that the metal on the band seems "soft" and shows a lot of wear, at least on mine. I have no idea if that's common or I just wear mine too much.
Cool! Thanks, Ben!Bergeon 2834-C Fiber Glass Scratch Brush Pen.
If you want to re finish it yourself, though sometimes the scratches are better aesthetically than areas that look slightly different from attempting to remove them.
