Elk. Although I am an elk bowhunter, the piece of gear I would like is a blaze orange insulated beanie that comes down over your ears.....and it is designed so you can still hear a whitetail sneaking in at 50 yards in a November Minnesota snowstorm while eating peanuts. Well, maybe not peanuts, but you get the point!

Mule deer but elk are a close 2nd. Solid color options on rain gear, puffy and warm weather pants. Especially in green or tan

Warm hunts are tough enough, which is why we created the Kaibab 150 SS crew. The Kaibab 150 was designed as a core layering powerhouse for early season hunts. Whether you are sitting a stand or sprinting to intercept your quarry, the Kaibab 150 thrives in warm weather by recruiting its natural merino fibers to manage moisture allowing you to stay cool, dry, and fixated on success. . Additionally, we utilize a core-spun process by spiral mating merino fibers with synthetic fibers for enhanced memory and durability.

Entering is simple -- Check you favorite Big Game animal to hunt in the poll and also post your answer in the thread. Contest will run between now and September 6th. Everyone can enter one time and will receive a bonus entry for posting up what clothing item you would like to see SKRE Gear bring to market next.

***RULES***

To be eligible to win a participating member will have a minimum of 25 posts by the stated deadline of September 6th AND agree to post a first impressions of the Kaibab 150 merino wool short sleeve shirt in the SKRE Gear 2020 New product releases & member reviews thread. Failure to comply with or attempt to bypass any rules will result in swift disciplinary measures up to and including permanent banning from the community.

I’ve gotta go with elk. Alpine mulies come in close 2nd, but elk at 1st.

I voted elk although I've only been elk hunting once 20 years ago. Headed to CO in a couple of weeks though for round 2. That said, that hunt was the most fun hunt of my life by far.

I really like the looks of the SKRE stuff, both Hardscrabble set and the Unita pant. I'd like to see something like a lightweight hoody that's a pullover with the typical built in facemask to combine with that pant for early season. Maybe also a nice lightweight waterproof tarp for glassing/shade/emergency shelter, something like 8x8. I'm 6'5", I hate all these tiny tarps.

Oh yeah, make some of these tops in a Tall. I'm really long waisted for my height - trying to say no to crack!

I voted elk, it's my favorite. But whitetail is what I do the most of. Simply because I can walk out the door and do it versus driving 28-34 hours. I get to elk hunt most years. Actually probably waterfowl hunt more than whitetail.

Need a pair of gloves that work with touch screens.

I most enjoy above treeline mule deer.

A feather-weight vented long-sleeved shirt for hot weather.

I voted mule deer. Would like to see a 1/2 zip version of the wasatch shirt and a hoodie version.
