Is anyone able to get either the 79 or 135 DRT accurate enough to be a legitimate long range (700+) load?

All my loads end up 1.5-2.0ish, which effectively limit me to 500 (600)y max on deer.

Just curious

I've had about the same accuracy on the 79s in a 223 Tikka with XBR and Varget. Interested if others have had luck as well

Most loads have been 1.5 - 2.0 moa for 10, 6.5cm and 22cm. Some guns shoot them 3+ moa. This .223 does better with 23.0gr XBR.

Combine the precision averages with low BCs, I don't think these are good for LR hunting. 0-600 yes.
