I’m about to purchase a muzzleloader with the Williams Western Precision sight and the seller informed me the rear peep fell out and went missing. Has anyone had any experience dealing with Williams? Will they sell me just the rear peep? Thanks

I used one of these for my peep with my Williams sight. I feel like the two fiber optic dots help keep me keep the horizontal line on my crosshair level. And It has helped me in low light conditions. IMG_0030.png

I wonder if the entire rear peep fell off or the aperture fell out of the peep. If the former buy this ghost ring for $12 and put some Loctite on it. If the latter, you now have the ghost ring setup. I took the aperture out of my peep and now have a ghost ring style setup.

I had my rear aperature fall out a few years ago pronghorn hunting. Didn't realize it until I went to shoot one and it was gone. Ended up just buying the whole globe sight setup at scheels because I wanted to be hunting again the next day.

The only time the peep is even usable with the aperture screwed in is during the day. First light/last light I take it out and just run the hole as a ghost ring. I think you'd be fine just running it as a ghost ring.

Yes, i called them for advice recently as well as I'm having a hell of a time shooting with the existing rear aperture and ordered a couple of the more open ones to try.

The larger ones are the way to go. Try painting the outer ring of the front globe white too, it really helps when lining them up after the sun goes down.

I just used a basic paint pen off Amazon. I’d imagine car touchup paint would be pretty durable and resistant to chipping too. IMG_8054.jpeg
