I sighted in my Thompson Center Pro Hunter this past weekend using the Williams Western Precision sight set. However, I was 3 inches low at 50 and around 10 inches low at 100 yards with the elevation maxed out on the rear peep. I spoke with Williams, and they do not carry a ramp that has the additional height needed. I think I have two options that will work, but I was hoping someone could chime in with a similar experience.

The two options are:

1) An EABCO Peep Rib. I believe these have more elevation adjustment than the Williams set.

2) A rear peep sight elevation modification like this one here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225907964663?itmmeta=01KT1RJ1GEGKJSKSPQ1YZ3SKSA&hash=item349929faf7

Just wondering if anyone has had the same issue and solved it with either of these two options.

very common with muzzleloader trajectories to have to chase the vertical.

I've used XS Ghost Ring but the physics are the same.

I have had to raise my peep, or drop my front post many times to fix low shots. XS sends a test post for this purpose and I've always used it before I settle on heights of rear/front

Thanks for the info. I think I will go with the EABCO peep rib and then if I can't get the elevation necessary, I will try this on the rail:

Yes, I’ve used all those options. The eBay rear sight riser is very tall. The XS low (above) or the tall XS with a rail should work for you.

Great, thank you. Just ordered the EABCO and will see if that solves it, but if not, will order one of each of the XS and return the one that doesn't work for me. I would like to keep using my Williams front globe so hoping no front post changes will be necessary.
