It seems the path we are trending on seems to indicate some changes in gun ownership.

With that, will guns ever become ‘worthless’?

I am a gun owner. Some newer, many old. Will they ever become not worth anything?

I can’t think of a scenario where they would be worth nothing. If outlawed, I’m sure they will be worth less through legal channels but only worth more on the street.

They won't become worthless as long as you can feed them. People that have them usually like to shoot them, so ammo availability is key to practical worth. Without ammo you have a club that might have some sentimental value as an heirloom.

Cartridge guns worthless without ammo or we start using "Blasters" like Star Wars and look at cartridge guns as antiques

In states with tighter rules and laws like california, new york, etc. I think they would go up in value. So if laws become more strict everywhere I would expect prices to go up everywhere as well

Ask the Ukrainians
Ya. Biden wants to ban what the left perceives as some sort of "assault-style weapons" for American citizens, but then sends pallets of full on assault rifles to the Ukraine for their citizens to use for personal protection. You can't make this stuff up. Insanity at its finest. That's why they won't address mental illness. They'd have to admit how insane they are.

Guns have not been worthless for years, instead there have been upgrades so I doubt there is any scenario that guns will be worthless

There are two meanings of the word "worthless". Worthless as in zero monetary value, and worthless as in not able to function as it was intended. A gun locked up in the safe is pretty worthless for functioning if you need it NOW. An unloaded gun is pretty worthless when you need it NOW. And a gun is pretty worthless........and dangerous if you don't know how to use it........just like most tools are.

The question really is are guns worth dying for? Both sides of the argument need to ask themselves this question. If you want them banned and confiscated are you willing to volunteer to collect them? If you are not willing to turn them in, are you willing to stand up against tyranny?

Is A firearm worth dying for probably not. Is the right to keep and bears arms for the general citizens worth it...how is it not?

They'll be replaced by some new tech like lazers or phazers then they'll be collectables like swords and spears are now
