Has anyone used any of the wilderness athlete products? What do you think of them? Anyone taken their 28 day challenge?

I use 3 of their products.

. Energy & Focus (this shit works!)
. Hydrate & Recovery (Gatorade without all the sugar and other crap)
. Joint Advantage (bad knees)

So far I like all 3. Could I find a cheaper alternative? probably, but I like supporting companies that support the hunting industry. Always to my house within 2 days of ordering too.

I like both the Energy and Focus and the Hydrate and Recovery. Tired the Altitude product and it seemed to work too.

Muleman,

I will be in Idaho this October. We will be hunting under and just over 8000'. Do you think being right at 8000' will effect me? The guidelines say 8000' and above, but i'm wondering how much at 8000.

I guess it depends at what elevation you live at and how you respond to elevation.. I live at 4,600' and normally hunt between 7,000 and 10,000'. I took the recommended dose and it seemed to help me keep my breath on long climbs at elevation. I only used the altitude product one fall but use the others items regularly.

For what its worth I live at 800' and hunt in Idaho around 8k - 9k and have no issues. Usually a night at base camp around 7k and my body acclimates. If was going to be at 10k or higher I would look into it. This is me though, everyone is different.

I live around 2000' in AZ. I am going hiking in Flagstaff, AZ the week before I leave for Idaho to get some hiking in. I will be hiking from 9-12,000' so I will see how I do.

Thumbs up on the hydrate and recovery..seems to be a good mix of electrolytes, antioxidants and glucosamine.

I e-mailed WA and they sent me some information. One of the things they say has been is to mix the hydrate & recovery with the energy & focus. I am going to give both of those a try.

I have mixed them a lot. I always add plenty of water.

I use their Hydrate and Recover, Energy and Focus, Protein, and Altitude Advantage!

Great company and products! If you call for an order ask for Chris Webster!

I took a look at their website. Is there a work out program to go along with the challenge or is it just supplements? I am no fitness expert, but assume the two must somehow be linked to gain maximum benefit, yeah?
