Wide angle vs zoom apparent fov is blowing my mind

It’s not an apples to apples comparison, no science was done here. But over the last couple of years I have had a Nikon ed50 13-40, Nikon monarch 82ed, razor 13-39x56, and most recently another Nikon ediii with the 24x wide angle lens. I had never messed with a fixed lens but I am blown away it’s like looking at a big screen tv. I popped my ollin on and there was nearly zero vignette. Pics are uncropped from the razor and ed iii. Can’t wait to try and find some mule deer with this thing next year!
