Recently I have seen a lot of ads here selling Sitak clothing. Is something new and better coming out? Or people realized that other brands like First Lite and such are better?

I'm listing my stuff because the trip I had planned isn't gonna happen. No need for quality stuff to sit in a tote for an extended period of time. Somebody should get great stuff at a great price. IMHO of course😁

I posted some for sale because I am a gear freak and I had to have the latest and greatest but having said that, a lot of my friends like to buy my "old stuff" because it is all like new. Sitka did improve several of their products like most Companies do to stay on top and I have been happy with just about everything with their name on it.

I posted mine for sale as I just do not use it much. I really do not wear a lot of camo when elk hunting. So might as well make room in the hunting closet and give someone a good deal on gear they will use.

Thanks all. It just seemed strange that it appeared like it was mostly Sitka. I wear FL in ASAT and starting to look again at Kuiu since i have slimmed down, thanks to my cardiologist saying too. I much prefer ASAT or the Vias, the large open patters. Did the cotton predator for long time but now looking at more technical clothing.

My Sitka is up for sale on the local CL. Most of it is 4-5 yrs old, and decided to upgrade. I switched to all kuiu because of the fact the owner is a bona fide hunter, so I know where my money will go, and the pricing seems better than the new sitka

I've sold most all of mine. It was older and hadn't been used much. I upgraded to primarily kuiu. And like carlc said. The owner is a bonafide hunter and I know my money goes to folks who support hunting and hunters. I've had some mountaineering stuff that I liked and was high quality but it just seemed ironic hunting in clothing made by companies that are seriously anti hunting.

The owners of Sitka Gear are hunters too and I wouldn't consider them or the company anti hunting

i was getting ready for the season and remembered last year putting in knee pads into my pants, FL Kanabs. I like the knee pads from Sitka, and now see that Kuiu has a warmer pair with pads. All my merino base layers is FL brown and only own a jacket, shirt and pants that are ASAT. Rarely will I have 2 shirts or pants. But it is nice when washing. Also my rain gear is all FL brown too.

I had a ton of stuff i Mountain Mimicry from C4E and sold it for FL as MM wasn't being made anymore.
