A simple look at the numbers and the wolf ballot won because of boulder/denver/jefferson counties...I'm not sure what Garfield Co or Boebert have to do with the wolf ballot passing. Are you implying that a US rep has a way to stop a state ballot initiative simply because it effects a county in her district?

I'd assume, as she seems friendly to ranchers and hunters alike that she opposes the introduction. A simple call to her office could probably clarify if you're that concerned about her stance.
Implying we have had town halls and other measures to help CPW come up with a plan. Many on here, myself included have participated. I do think since the release is in her district she could participate or help. The plan is still very fluid. I am sure I’d asked she is against it. I just was curious why we have to ask And what she is doing to communicate her districts concerns,

The fact that people openly think slippery slopes don’t exist while living in the hunting space in 2023 is laughable.

I‘ll also add, the lead ammo analogy from Kevin was weak, and while he did say they weren’t trying to forcibly make people change from lead ammo, he never said he was against gun control. Says it all, IMO.

You should act like a grown man and contact her yourself. Then start another thread instead of asking totally irrelevant, speculative, curious questions on here. Your shilling and attempts to derail the thread are quite obvious.

I'm missing how Boebert and her stance on wolves has anything to do with the topic of this thread...but whatever draws attention away from the OP

The fact that people in 2023 don’t even understand why we have a second amendment and what it’s for is laughable. Especially after the last two and a half years.

Kevin’s response was extremely weak and came off as trying to play the victim card after advocating for cancelling anybody who isn’t a raging anti-2A socialist like him. He came on and didn’t even attempt to address the sole reason people are looking elsewhere to other companies.

Like you said, the fact he never said he was against gun control says more than any of the rambling mumbo jumbo he typed.

So when are you all going to meet up and have a tipi burning. Or are you still going to use the SO gear you have but just not buy any more.

A week ago everyone and their brother would have suggested a seek tipi for a number of reasons. Now it seems like 90% of you guys would rather kiss your sister then spend a night in a SO tipi

Does the well regulated militia part of 2A just carry no meaning whatsoever to all of the people here that are “outraged” about this. Legitimately curious, not asking for a friend.

Everyone can mail me their gear. I will properly dispose of it.

The Supreme Court has already ruled on this in District Of Columbia VS. Heller. You don’t have to be “legitimately curious”, when you can research case law yourself.

“Private citizens have the right under the Second Amendment to possess an ordinary type of weapon and use it for lawful, historically established situations such as self-defense in a home, even when there is no relationship to a local militia.”

Seriously guys, thank you for keeping this overwhelmingly polite despite the contentious nature, and I think that was true from both sides of the debate.

Ultimately, I’m exceedingly grateful that we live in a country where SO and Mr. Busse can express their views, and further that everyone here has the ability to freely do so as well. I’m also thankful we all have the ability to chose where we spend our money regardless of any of the above.
