Who’s using the Tactacam FTS

[Duh]

Anyone currently using the Tactacam FTS with the 5.0 camera? I’m looking to buy one for primarily filming my daytime coyote hunts and maybe a bit of my long range practices.

Any issues with them in the cold or getting them turned on quick?

I also would like to hear anyone's experience with putting the Tactacam Solo Extreme on a ar/rifle (rather than shotgun).

I use a Solo on my crossbow and have no complaints.

I hunt in temps down -25c and so far no issues. Handles the recoil well, the sound is clear and even though it is 1080, the picture is clear enough for me. Quick to turn on with one push, pause with two and turn back on with another tap. Turn off by holding it down. I use a 32g card and that is more than enough for an entire week of filming as I was using to video any and all deer that showed up.

It doesn't have a zoom, but I only hunt up to 40y distance and it shows the hunt no problem. Took a big whitetail with the system last year and you could see everything happening.

Yes it does, works on Bluetooth. I haven't tried it right after, but have sat in the blind later and it worked with no issues. The biggest issue is trying to see it all on a small screen. You are zooming in and out trying to see everything, which is a real first world problem....Haha

Just make sure you have everything set up and tested before you head out.

For sure. I won’t be able to compare the FTS, as I’m no longer in the market now. I was trying to get the Tactacam to save some money but my wife must have thought otherwise haha.

I will say that the trigger cam is heavier than expected but it feels solid.
