Holding windage for practice

Like I was saying, the kestrel is a good one, especially with AB or some other ballistic engine, as it gives you your holds if you use angular measurements.

That addresses @HandgunHTR concern of velocity, since it’s litterally needed to run a ballistic solver. Albeit you’d find that BC will have significant effect on wind, when compared, but since this OP is on wind, I’ll digress on all the ballistics.

These give that wind 1 and 2 for bracketing. However, it’s not used JUST for bracketing. It could be used for a technique commonly known as “firing on prevailing wind.” So you actually have 3 major data points of dope.

Another thing, probably more helpful for you immediately, especially with the shorter range shooting is going to be learning about the benefit of a “no wind zero.”
