Thanks Bruce, I'm excited to try some of this stuff out. I just read the Sitka writeup they had with the cold weather training and it sounds pretty amazing, but I'm not sure I buy into the belief that the synthetic next to skin will be better than merino. I'm one stinky SOB when I start really sweating. I'll stick with my FL for that now that I've tried it out this summer.
