Technical hunting clothing.

I'm starting to get fed up with buying name brand hunting clothing. I have pieces from Kuiu, Sitka, Firstlite, and Stone Glacier. Don't get me wrong I really like everything that I have currently for the most part. I have had this gear for years, but lately I'm just sick of the high prices of this gear and if I want to replace an item that got tore up or whatever it may be it's costs a lot of money. Most of this is made over seas in a sweat shop and I'm just over the price gouging. I would like to.get your ideas on a relatively inexpensive clothing system from base layers all the way to the rain gear. TIA

Baselayers?
Midlayers?
Insulation?
Shell?
I just got the level 1 Polartec base top and bottom really cheap. They are supposed to be moisture wicking and breathable. I also got the USMC fleece Polartec 1/2 zip for $4 dollars weights only 9.5 oz.

The Costco Eddie Bauer 650 down jacket is really cheap at Costco at only 10 oz for a small one. Or directly from Eddie Bauer

Like a lot of guys I bought into hunting brands just because I thought that was the way. When in reality I had years of experience with outdoor gear that would work just fine. I knew a guy who would just buy Walmart cheap synthetics and wool blend every season because when he would kill and animal he would just bag his clothes up and leave them and fill his pack with meat (I don’t advocate for littering). But his point was he didn’t care if he spent $1-200 on clothes per season because it was far cheaper than any hunting brand out there for single items.

If you are trying to stick to American made companies, your list dwindles.

base layers and tshirts and hats I go with merino (I’ve got a bunch of duck worth but there are other companies).

Mid layer - I’ve got a few options from synthetics to wools. I tend to like synthetics better for my use because they are generally lighter but some American made options are companies like NW Alpine.

Softshell - OR (I’ve got some of their us line made for military)

Rain gear - OR

Puffy- OR, Patagonia (mil issue), and decathlon. The last one not USA made but cheap and effective.

Pants - don’t have a great US made recommendation. For cheap and easy - wrangler atg. For multiple season use - fjallraven keb. There are some great options in the $75-100 range that will last a few seasons (black ovis, Kings xpg line, prana) but might not have all the features you might want.

Camofire is a great resource if you know what you are looking for and get it at fractional pricing. I source from eBay, geartrade, Rokslide classifieds etc.

If I needed to I could absolutely source all my gear for a season for under 1k and with whatever brands I could source. Likely not from US made clothing, but I could spend money and time elsewhere
