Who is ready to DELETE Facebook?

I only go there for a few groups im in. Ive moved the app on my phone so I have to scroll to find it.

I did the other day. I was never a heavy user, but I did use it. Deletion was easy. Don’t like censorship any more than gun control.

One buddy jokes he only has FB for Marketplace Classifieds. While there are great deals from people on skid row or selling stolen goods; you can’t sell arrow vanes, an archery target (let alone the bow, arrows, etc) because it goes against their violence policy.

I deleted Facebook after every liberal on social media started twisting the Jan 6th protest. Started using DuckDuckGo as my search engine. If you’re into social media you should start a parler and gab account. Amazon took parler off their servers and apple & google took parler out of their app stores. They want to silence conservatives and any competition. Gab and parler are the closest thing to competition fb & Twitter have. We need to support them.

I’m not on FB, Instagram, Twitter, or anything else. Rokslide is the extent of my internet footprint. Pretty sure my life is better because of it. My wife has dumped FB as well.

Deleted it 10 years ago got sick of how basically people just use it to brag about their lives and post feelings.

I did recently use my gfs account to purchase a new bow though. Some good deals in certain groups.

I do like Amazon prime a lot . Just watched solo hunter for about 3 hours last night. Also like the hunting public.

I have FB. During lunch at my co-workers and I post anti-liberal memes and then make bets on how long it will take for them to be removed or marked as "false information". It's entertaining. I've been in FB jail about every week for the last year. My timeline is a yard sale of locked posts and "false info". It's funny as hell to me.

I de-activated it. I’m not on FB, Twitter or Insta-famous. I don’t want or need the drama, gossip and fake people. It’s been replaced with quality books. The only social media I’m on is Rokslide and about 6 people on Snapchat (wife, kids and siblings).

Both wife and I deleted our FB accounts after election 2016.
If I didn’t like or talk to you in high school, college or work, why would I want to be your friend on a digital platform.

I took the app off my phone a week ago, I didn’t look at it a lot but when I did it turned into a huge waste of time. I still have messenger but that’s how my cousins communicate so I’ll keep it for now.

As for Newberg, Solo Hunter and other hunting shows, you can get them on YouTube for free.

About 4 years ago my dog jumped, hooked my phone cable and spiked my phone off a tile floor. I haven't been able to log in since. I do miss that there are certain people I otherwise probably won't communicate with and it holds all the pictures of my younger self with old friends. Otherwise, I'm glad to be rid of it. The last couple years of scrolling through it I was always wondering who people were, why I was supposed to know them, or why they thought anyone cares about their drama life.

I have ordered a lot of stuff from Amazon! With the resent events I was considering canceling my Amazon account, but then I herd of a better solution! Let’s all ordered 1 item a day from Amazon, and then just return them with there free returns policy!

Been off FB for 10 years, but prime has to go now, and we’ll see what we can do about google. Apple is a whole other can of worms. All these companies have imbedded themselves and woven their way into the fabric of business and daily life. It’s going to take a considerable effort by many to buck that comfort.

I just deleted Facebook and Instagram and got rid of amazon prime.
