Who else makes a WIDE down semi mummy?

I started using a Sea to Summit Spark this year. The long version is the widest I have found. I used it down to 10 degrees this winter with only long underwear on and I was plenty warm.

I ended up returning this bag because I hated the zipper on it and it also didn’t feel like it will be very warm. It seems like manufacturers really struggle to offer any mummy sleeping bags that are wide enough for us larger people. I just picked up a western mountaineering sequoia bag that I am thinking about returning because that too is not wide enough for my shoulders. It’s tight enough that I can’t have my arms by my side without causing cold spots by compressing the bag so much. I think for my body type a quilt is probably gonna be the best it will get. I have a UGQ bandit quilt that’s 10° and I really like it a lot. I was just hoping to find something that would keep me a little bit warmer in the late season hunts, but I guess I will use my quilt and bundle up with my puffy pants and jacket.

A custom bag may be your best bet, or a Zenbivy bed system. Cumulus out of Poland does custom bags, as well as PHD designs out of England, but PHD is $$$$.

What WM bag are you looking at for $1200?
I have the WM Kodiak 0 degree bag. I have only used it a handful of nights out, but it was about 0 degrees and I never felt cold and there is plenty of room in this bag.

I would give the new Argali sleeping bag a hard look. I haven't used it but was amazed at how much room it had when i laid in it at the expo

A little different recommendation but it is what ended up working for me and was very reasonably priced. I went with the 0 degree Hyke and Byke hammock version of a mummy bag. It is much roomier and has a center zip, while still being down and fairly light. I don't use it for my hammock setup, just for sleeping on a pad on the ground. Works well for me.

Interesting. Is the fill of these bags all down, or is it a combo of down and synthetic? How long have you used your bag (I'm curious as to the durability.)?
Thanks.

Feathered Friends Ibis. Very warm and their temp ratings are realistic

Pretty hard to beat the Western Mountaineering Kodiak for a comfy, warm, late fall or even winter bag?
Yes, they are crazy expensive these days but they are worth it IMO.

Edit: they are also very roomy in the shoulders and are, last time I checked, available in length all the way to seven feet?
