Where are you hunting Elk in 2020? Rifle, ML, or Bow?

I’m wondering if a state does not allow non residents in, is it an automatic refund and a bonus/pref point added for next year? It would be BS if they did not give a FULL refund .

I don't think any state is offering anything on fall hunts yet. A couple have offered refunds/return of points for spring bear, fishing licenses, etc. so I imagine fall hunts would be similar if Covid-19 is still a problem.

I've got a 50/50 chance at drawing either a muzzy or late rifle tag this year here in Utah. If I do I will likely turn it back in due to other tags that have overlapping or conflicting seasons.

If I do not draw I will buy an OTC Archery any bull tag and hunt elk while scouting for Mtn. Goat.

Oregon archery and Montana archery if I draw the non resident combo tag. Also, will rifle hunt Montana if I don't get anything with my bow.

If it comes to that I hope they offer a full refund. I have an Idaho elk tag already and will be drawing 16A iN NM shortly .

I’d like to see them say 1) full refund 2) keep same tag and cost and hunt it next year.

Was planning on taking my dad for Colorado muzzy but decided to play it safe and not burn his dozen points if it turns out we are unable to go with COVID 19.

It is looking like most likely I will be heading to Idaho with an OTC archery tag. Real excited since I’ve been wanting to give this spot a try as well

We’ll be headed to SW Montana in Oct for rifle. Now if only the next 6 months would fly by
