Finally got my foot in a Crispi. It was a size big and fit as such, but it confirmed that the proper size SHOULD have the width I need.

It was a Crispi Nevada, however, and I'm eyeing the Lapponia or the Wyoming.

Are they generally the same width by model or am I going to be disappointed and want to just order the Nevada and be done?

My son and I have the Lapponia’s, Nevada’s and Briksdal’s and they are all the same in my opinion for width/fit. My son bought the Ativa mid’s last spring and doesn’t wear them as they are too narrow. Different type of boot/shoe though.

Lapponia, Wyoming, and Idaho are all their widest boots

Nevada/guide are a tiny but narrower

The Lapponia are must tighter than the Nevada and Wyoming. I have all 3. Lapponia is like a moccasin snug fitting. The Wyoming is the synthetic Nevada and the Idaho are the synthetic guide. Same board last. Same foot bed. The Lapponia and Nevada are so different. Just look at the bottom of the boot.

Thank you. It's so difficult trying to make sense of everything through pictures and a couple models on a shelf.

I feel your pain. I have watched about 10 hours of youtube and 20 hours of research on the Crispis. I know the line inside and out from the last 5 years. You can watch videos on youtube from BlackOvis, Gritty and others. Also they will be 20% soon on BlackOvis. You can order a few and try them in the house and send back what you dont want. You can call BlackOvis also and they can walk you through it. I have the Lapon, Nevada, and Wildrocks. I had the Wyoming and sold them as they pinched at the plastic webbing bars by the toe. I go leather only now. Flex is important to look at, the shape of the sole and the make up of the compounds on the mid sole. And the ABSS works. Figure out if you like 8 or 10 inch boots...those 4 questions will lead you where you want to go...then they need to fit. The attached image is about 4-5 years old.
