my wife and i and a good buddy drew montana this year so sept 10-19 for the first trip and hoping to fill the wifes tag then ill head back early october to fill my tag... hopfuly its our first time hunting in montana so we will see lol

I was going to hold off a bit and skip opening weekend in MT. My son just scouted our area and his text said" super elky, jumped a big bull, and lots of fresh tracks". I'm re-thinking my departure dates )

Got nothing but elk on the brain, that golden hour is fast approaching here in CO. My step-dad down in NM has been scouting hard and has some sweet pictures of good bulls through his spotting scope too. Should be a good season. Fingers crossed, stay safe, and good luck everyone.

Mine starts Aug 30th in Idaho then I leave on Sept. 8th for an AZ elk hunt, both bow hunts.
