I also still have my old Bowtech Samson from way back when they started. That thing is 80. I shoot it but just for fun. It throws telephone poles down range.

I am a late bloomer to bow hunting. Bought my first bow in 2015 and didn’t really know anything And bought the wrong bow out of the box - a jumpy 65# turbo. I revised that choice a couple of years later and the only thing I don’t like is that I upped the poundage - 75# with a 34 inch axle to axle . I have tweaked my shoulder pulling it at odd angles sometimes. Now, I am fairly strong but my rotator cuffs aren’t getting any younger so pushing 50, my next bow will be 65# Non turbo.

43/67 (#65 bow however I like to bottom out my limbs so it pulls #2 hot).

51 y/o and 70lb draw. You dont need weights for bow training your draw muscles, all you need is the bow and hundreds of releases.
