Surprising not seeing more Victory shooters. Dropped the eastons in a heartbeat when i checked out a VAP for the first time. Ive killed plenty of whitetails with $30 a dzn arrows just fine, and honestly couldnt tell much performance difference to justify the extra $130 for a dozen when i switched to flatliners, then fmj's. But Victory VAP arrows really are innovative, technically superior products that have some killer penetration!

Can you explain/clarify how and why you struggled with FMJ's last year? Was it the FOC?

I had trouble with them staying true. Mushrooming or bending if I hit anything hard. Even hitting abandoned field points in the targets at the range was enough to cause issue.

Can Someone suggest a good arrow setup for me?
I'm a 27 or 27.5" draw (pro shop that set it up didn't tell me which he set my bow at), shooting at about 60 lb.
I was looking at :
Black Eagle Rampage 400 (cut @28.5")
Easton Hit Insert 75 grain (or Half-Out)
NAP Thunderhead 100gr
Nockturnal X Red Nock
Blazer 2in Vanes
Total Arrow Weight: 393.5 gr (with Half-Out) or 412.5 gr (with HIT)

FOC would be 14.91% with Half-Out or 16.37% with HIT

Any help or suggestions for a New Archer would be great

wow...that arrows tunes well? Awful short for that spine. I am same arrow size and never tried a 300 spine - I draw 70 pounds; I assume you do or more?

I'm shooting 26.5" kinetic 300's at 70 pounds and they're shooting great.
