What is your main hunting arrow setup this year. Type of arrow, total weight, type of broadhead and grains, what animals its for. Thought it would be interesting to see what everyone decided to go with this year. Just a fun discussion no judgement here.

Victory Rip TKO Elite w/ 60grn stainless outsert. 470grains. Sevr 1.5in 125grain and Magnus Black Hornet 125grain. All animals.

Gold Tip Hunter XT 300 spine. 50 gr insert, 3 blazers with max left helical, 125 gr exodus, 125 gr slick trick mag or standard, 125 gr Magnus stinger 4 blade, 125 gr nap spitfire 1.5”. 480 gr total weight. Use them for anything from elk to whitetails. Won’t use spitfires on elk or pigs.

Axis 5mm, 400s with either 100 gr. brass insert and Cutthroats/adapters at 260 gr. or with 60 gr. Tophat half outs and Cutthroats/adapters weighing 310 grs.

The Tophat arrows wear short Ashby style feathers and the others rock Blazer vanes. Totals 650, 660 gr.

Gold tip kinetic 200 115 grain ethics outserts and 200 grain vpa 728 grains I’ll use it for elk and deer but could likely be used for t-Rex or most other things

Gold tip xt hunters 300 spine 28 inches carbon to carbon. 100 grain brass insert. G5 montec 100 grain. 3 inch vanetec vanes. Standard gt nock. Will be used on whitetails if i can find one.

GT Pierce Platinum 300 @26.5 carbon to carbon. 105 gr Ethics Insert/outsert, 3" wrap, AAE Pro max 4 fletch, Easton G nocks, and Iron Will 125gr head. 502 TAW.

I also used a Sevr 2.1 in 125 grain on a bear, and carried a sevr 1.5 in my quiver for deer (but didn't get a chance to use it). I hunt pronghorn, Mule deer, Whitetail, Elk, and black bear with the same arrow.

28.5 CTC Victory Elite VAP, 4 Fletch AAE Pro Max, 20 grain aluminum collar, 230 grain Valkyrie Jagger

I have two dozen VAP elite 300’s one dozen with 8/32 plug screws and 75 grain brass deep six inserts and footers the other have the weights titanium half outs and footers both weigh 480 grains. I did the same thing with some 250 spine vaps finished weight 565. Both setups use 100 grain iron will in deep six and standard 100 grain Sevr for the half outs. I also have a couple dozen RIP tko elite 300 spine 75 grain brass HIT and footers total weight 505 with 125 heads, and some axis 300 with 75 brass 100grain heads for a total weight of 535. I’ve shot a few deer with the rip tko and they are super tough with the footers that’s my most used set up I shot a doe with the 480 grain VAP the other day and a Sevr and must have hit offside shoulder first non pass through for me

hope to try this set up this coming fall.
Black Eagle X-Impacts 400. 25.5 ctc 3 or 4 fletch pro max. Iorn will D6 25 gran insert w/25 grain collar. 125 gran A-Tacs or 100 grain Serv 1.5s
Patiently waiting for Iorn Will to come out with the inserts and collars to fit.

I've been using GT Kinetic XT 200's at 520gr with regular HIT inserts, Q2i Fusion Xii 2.1" vanes in a 4-fletch, Bohning A nocks, and 125gr Spitfires and GR Fatal Steel heads........for elk of course.

But I've been looking for a more consistent spec'd arrow, so I just got some Black Eagle Spartan 250's in .001" that I will be trying soon. They come in at 495gr with similar components, except they have regular inserts.

Carbon Express Maxima Red
Slick Trick 100
Blazer vanes

Total weight = 360 grains

Been using this smokin fast setup for Whitetail over 15 years.
Always get a pass through and short blood trail.
At his speed a single pin set at 25 yards has not failed.

300 Easton Axis
4 AAE Max Stealth fletch
4 inch wrap
Bohning Nock
HIT insert
Iron Will 25g collar
Days Six Evo-X broadhead 125g

535 grains.

Gold Tip Pro Hunter 340 with standard insert, G Nock and G Nock Bushings, Bohning hunter orange color 9 inch wraps, 4 Blazer X2 vanes and Trophy Taker A-Tac 100 grain broadheads. Comes out to around 450 grains. Use this for any animal I might hunt. Mostly whitetail and elk.

Same as the last few years,
5mm FMJ 340 27 7/8”
Blazer fletch
Standard insert w/ Easton BAR
V100 Iron Will
Weighs in at 485 if I remember correctly.

BEA rampage or Easton Axis with HITS seems to be the easy button. Choose HIT/collars/point weight to get the overall weight, spine, and FOC desired.

Been shooting the GT Pierce Platinums the last two years. No real complaints at all but it's time for a new dozen. Really thinking of just going back to the Axis again. They're pretty much bomb proof.
