I dont seem to see much on these at all. Most people have either a love or hate relationship with Kimber from what Ive gathered. For the money these seem to be an attractive uber light suppressor ready mountain rifle thats stainless to boot. They're not perfect Im sure but what gives? 🤔

They're awesome rifles that several people can't shoot well due to the weight.....and sometimes the rifles dont shoot well due to some very easy to cure issues.

I love what kimber brings to the table for the price.....but they do have a love / hate relationship.

The Adirondack is a great rifle, I’d guess fewer people buy them because they are available in fewer calibers than the Montana or Lou twin ascent models. AK troutbum has one.

I wouldn’t mind one in 7/08.

You're spot on about the weight magnifying shooter error. I remember someone starting a thread a while back about kimbers ability to stack rounds despite the naysayers and several people posted pictures to prove they can be shooters

It fills a specific niche for sure but I just assumed they should have more traffic out on the web. For you guys that have them how does the stainless hold up?

I had an Adirondack in .308 I used during a rainy/snowy bear/deer season here in PA. No issue with the stainless however the camo and soft touch wore off pretty easily on mine. Sold it and ended up buying a Montana in 7mm-08 I found NIB at a local shop. I like the textured stock of the Montana better and the bolt is not nearly as rough. I have had 3 Kimbers .308 Classic Select, .308 Adirondack, 7-08 Montana and all shot MOA or better with factory ammo.

No issues at all, however the barrel heats up very quick. Keep it at 3 shots maximum while practicing then let the barrel cool down

I also have a kimber hunter and kimber ascent. All 3 guns shoot just fine.

As long as you understand they were made as a hunting rifle for normal hunting usage and not made for bench matches or 1000 yard hunting, i dont think you will find any issues with any kimber rifle.

I keep all of my hunting shots under 600 yards and all 3 kill animals without a problem.
