Outside of that, looking to switch to a base camp setup so looking at wood stoves and tents.

High quality 8x30 binoculars
Going to spend some time and money trying to find a really good fitting pair of boots.
Try Hanwag. I have Lhasa's but there are other options with more of a rand around toe/front. Most comfy boots i've ever put on.... expensive but like Cadillacs on your feet!

Ok I will join in:
Most importantly...I hope to have a few tags to fill. preferably an elk tag.

The Wishlist:
Swaro binos...10x42 SLC or EL.
If I draw archery elk tag, I new bow package.
Outdoorsman micro pan head
Outdoorsman window mount
A lightweight Mountain rifle..possibly Kimber Mt Ascent with high quality scope.
LED lights Front, side and rear, for the roof rack of the truck.
Set of Maxtrax recovery boards (the newer version)

The realistic list:
Lanthrop and Sons inserts for my boots.
A new sleep mat....thinking the exped winterlite at the moment.
A granfors bruks small forest axe (its just something I've wanted for years. Might not NEED it, but I want it!
high lift jack and mount for my roof basket on the truck.
Shovel/axe mount for my roof basket of the truck.

Don't store wood handled tools on the roof basket. Keep em out of the weather, and the handles will last a lot longer. It looses you mall crawlin overlander cred, but if you actually need those tools, they are less likely to break.
The hilift, sure, store it in the rain, lube it with mud and piss.

I would like a new tent for 2 people on backcountry hunt: my brother and i. To be used by wife and i and dog, also. Tiger Wall 3 by Big Agnes was on list, but worried about pup ripping it as he is a little bit crazy! Looking at floorless tipi designs : Seek OUtside LBO looks cool. Lightweight and modular... Anybody love theirs?
Other than that i am pretty set up. Hope Santa comes back and brings us all what we want for hunting seasons!
