Agreed. I would like the internal frame Timberline 3 as well, since I have some pack animals now and don't need the space. Also I would like a 24" frame length Woodsman, with slot pockets on the side for long items, and 3 independent sets of compression straps somewhat like the Reckoning.

So basically just a Reckoning but with pockets like The large compression pockets?
You, (or you could pay someone else that) could knock that together relatively easily.

I bought a Dall to upgrade from my Woodsman. I too had been waiting for a super simple/lightweight option for a multi-day bag. I have it loaded up with 90% of my gear for a 5 day hunt right now and still have plenty of room for as much boned out meat as I could handle in the bag. I am glad I held off buying one of the other high capacity bags before this one came out.

I'm looking to buy a Woodsman.
