What’s everyone’s favorite squirrel recipe?

My grandmother and mother used to make squirrel pie for me when I was younger. Basically a chicken pot pie substituted with squirrel meat that had been picked off the bone after boiling. I got tired of skinning squirrels by the time I was in college and haven’t had a squirrel pie in 25 years.

I've been putting a couple of squirrels (whole) in the smoker for a couple hours seasoned to preference. After smoking put them in a slow cooker for a couple hours in chicken broth.

Pull the meat apart and use like smoked chicken for sandwiches or in fajitas.

Anybody have pics of these delicious sounding recipes? After all, most people eat with their eyes!
Squirrel added to loaded baked potato soup for 2 hours and then add crumbled bacon and shredded colby on top.

We like to boil and boil and boil till the meat is soft.

Then take a can of cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, can of veg all, and add your squirrel meat. Simmer for a while.

Pour on top of fresh biscuits. Delicious!

A couple of weeks back I made gumbo using squirrel in place of chicken. Turned out great. Just pop them in a pressure cooker, pull off the meat, and use as shredded chicken. Do the same thing for rabbits - basically a 1:1 replacement for chicken in stews, pot pies, soups, chicken and dumplings, etc. As a bonus, I used cut up smoked snack sticks in lieu of andouille sausage (although I have now upgraded to making my own "cajun" sausage).
