What'a a good harness

Guys using the rock harnesses... Any mods to be able to hang climbing sticks from the harness as you climb a tree? Do you connect twice to the front for a linesman belt, or are there harnesses that have attachment points on the sides, large enough to connect two linesman belts to. I usually have two if I am doing a hang and hunt to stay roped in and go around limbs.

I seen some on Archery talk, but I don't recall exactly how they were done. Maybe Google it and see what comes up?

There are loops for quick draws on almost all climbing harnesses. You can hang steps from these if you want to. I've never tried using a lineman's belt so I'm not sure how well that would work with just one attachment point in the front. As far as I know you're going to have to go up to a tree climbers forestry type harness if you want to have two attachment points for a lineman's belt.

after reading this thread I got a Black diamond speed harness, I like it way better than the trad I'd been using for years, thanks

I take two 12" loops of para cord, loop it through the belt and then it's self. Now you have a loop hanging down, just slip the step brace through it and climb ...easy and doesn't weight anything
