Do you wear a bino harness in tree stand?

I got back and forth. I don't bring a pack whitetail hunting 95 percent of the time so a full harness feels like too much. I keep my rangefinder in my safety harness pocket. For most of my hunting 10x42s are overkill so I have been thinking about a smaller pair with a Rick young harness because I do like having binos with me.

I’ve never wore a bino harness while whitetail hunting, and actually only used one while I was on a muley hunt couple yrs ago.
I normally just keep binos in my pack.

Do you wear a bino harness while in a stand? I figure with the safety harness and adding a jacket occasionally it would b a pain.
A piece of rubber tubing around your chest is less bother than a harness

I didn't read all the other answers, but just my .02, yes I do, I changed last year to one.

I no longer carry a pack into a ladder, climber, nor shooting house. Everything I carry fits in the bino harness, my pants pockets/cargo, or hunting jacket.

binos, cleaning cloth, range finder on a pouch attached to harness, phone, charger and cable, extra cartridges, knife, wallet (this is one of those 80's velcro things in a zip lock baggy, it only has a "fiver" and my license very flat, grunt call, rattling bag, protein bar, hand warmers, flashlight, ------ crap, it's been a few months since I hunted deer, what else do I need, I've forgotten what else I may carry? The harness keeps a lot of this for me, no need for a pack up in a ladder/climber.

I usually do not wear my bino harness in a tree stand while archery hunting. I actually don’t normally take binos at all. This has changed a little the past couple of years with hunting more public land. When I was hunting my home property I just used the slight magnification on my range finder to ID different bucks since I was usually in close quarters. While walking in rifle season, I usually wear them though.

Sometimes. In the early season - most of the time. Later in the season typically do not.

I do. I wear my marsupial. I scan often for something to do...pick up deer sometimes doing that. To me, it's just handier to have them right there if i need them. Rangefinder pouch is typically open as well. Do I "need" it on my at all time.....nope...but I'm a dork like that.

I have for decades in a regular harness. It's really more than needed in heavy wooded areas. I picked up a Vortex Solo 8x36 monocular to play with in the woods this year. Better than half the size and weight, I can still check stuff out without pointing my rifle at it. I wanted a little more than the 6x in a rangefinder and definitely a better overall view. If I was hunting areas with big fields or clearings, then I'll always have binoculars with me.

Where I hunt, glassing out of a tree is mandatory. The low light capabilities of a quality pair of binos is amazing. I've tried several pouches and just don't like them in a tree. I just keep them around my neck for quick access and reduced movement. The only thing I hang is my thermocell! Worth mentioning, I have a fanny pack that I actually carry cross shoulder style. It has a range finder, lens cleaner/cloth, a few spare bullets, grunt call, flashlight, Fenix headlamp ,bic lighter and maybe some jerky or protein bar if it's going to be a long sit.

This is the way I go to my stands. A bunch handier than dealing with even a small pack in my opinion.

I hate to think of how many deer I may have never seen and spooked off hunting in the East and Southeast woods the many years before I learned to use my binos. I can honestly say, many…..

Yes, I do wear a bino harness. I have the Alaska Guide Creations harness. In that harness I am able to store my binos, rangefinder, headlamp, wind checker and bow release. Doesn't get too cold here in south Alabama, but there are times where I have to layer up. If I am in a stand with a safety harness, I normally wear the safety harness under my jacket and the bino harness over my jacket.
