My .300 RUM hasn't been shooting very good so I've been working on eliminating what it could be. In the process I decide to switch to factory ammo for a baseline and picked up the only factory ammo I found in store. Seemingly pretty reputable company but still had to pay $122 for a box.
It had been a few weeks since I shot last and last night I had some time so I got my setup to go shooting. After my first shot I went to load the next bullet in and in the process I found this. Not super impressed about it. I got in touch with the manufacture and we're working something out but for $6.10/rnd I'd expect better quality. Internet search revealed I haven't been the only one to find these. I also understand that things can get missed when dealing with big scale operations but I got me thinking about what would it have done to my gun if I would have shot it? Could it have caused any damage?
