What to do tanned cougar hide?

I was lucky enough to shoot a cougar this fall. Surprisingly enough, I recieved a call to come pick up its hide from the taxidermist this morning. Here's the rub. I'm currently in the process of applying for grad school and don't have the money freed up to have it mounted or a rug done until I figure out how I'll finance it. Of course the taxi let me know that if I want it worked on, the sooner the better, but in the meantime I thought that some one here would have some creative ideas on how to display the hide until I can have it rugged or mounted. Its currently draped over a little alcove above our livingroom and, but is there something else that would look a little more put together.
