What is your new year hunting goal?

I killed the 9 point I've been after this morning. It's my first kill with the rifle I bought last year. And I shot it with some of my reloads. So, I accomplished somethings this morning. Lol

Killing my first elk is one of my other goals.

To get good enough with the recurve to hunt with it this fall, then kill any big game that will let me get within 20 yards.

Actually get a hunting and fishing license this year, take a little time to get out..
This last year was pretty busy, didn't even pretend I was gonna get out.
This year, thinking start out going after spring bear, say yes to halibut, turn the phone off Friday night and hit the boonies..

Spring Turkey and an elk in the fall. I am 1 for 6 on elk and I want to turn that around. I have deer and antelope figured out so the focus will be on elk scouting this year.

Also, a public land pheasant here in Colorado.
