Shooting a 58" bear 55#@28, but I've got an old Rocky mountain recurve that I'm getting new limbs built for. 56" bow 50#@28. Really looking forward to resurrecting this old take down
Black Widow PSA X 54 @ 29", 62 inches long, Day Six 300 spine arrows with 100 grain pin insert and outsert system, 125 grain heads. Arrow weight 580 grains
Striker Bows RK1...58"...52# @ 28"...Black Eagle Vintage 500 cut down to 30" with 175 gr Simmons Tiger Shark up front.. had full pass thru on doe shoulder in 2017
Good stuff here. I have owned several high end custom longbows....a few Kota's, a Centaur. I even killed a few deer with them. I didn't shoot them terribly well. Started shooting recurves, and found I shoot them a little better. I also found I like the vintage stuff. Been shooting a '70 ish Besr Grizzly, 45# @ 28", and just picked up a '69 Browning Cobra, 52# @ 28....50" amo bow, short little sucker. I also have a Whisper Stik Mojo Stik that is 54# @28", which, sadly delaminated on me....I'm in the process of trying to repair it. Fingers crossed.
Just finished this one and it will be going with me to Idaho for spring bear. I shot valkyrie arrows and jaeger heads this past year and they worked great. Not sure about the 2.5” feathers only because I can’t see them as well.
