It’s not hard to tell with the way they drop their Os when they say sorrey and end every conversation with “Good”

In all seriousness turkeys. They’re dumb, taste bad, and like @KurtR said, what’s the point if you can’t hunt them with your dog?

I suspect if there were any other animal in season during turkey season, nobody would waste their time hunting them. To those saying Eastern turkeys are so difficult to hunt, they’re not. Once I learned how to do it, I can kill one pretty much guaranteed any morning of the season. And I’m not that great of a hunter. I’ve got a buddy that’s killed one with every legal weapon and no blind or decoys. I’ve seen videos of people killing them with their bare hands. Pretty sure you’ll never see that with an elk.
