Rancher here. Work full time on a custom grazing operation that houses around 900 pairs in the summer, then own about 75 cows of my own, then run a cornstalk grazing business with my FIL in the winters where we take care of about 1500 cows. Pretty fun life
Started with two degrees in Wildlife Biology and worked in Wildlife Pathology here in NY, then went to law school and have been a real estate and estate attorney in private practice for the last 15 years.
Well my days doing flooring are numbered... I am a Nationally Registered EMT, Wilderness EMT and Certified CPR/First Aid Wilderness First Aid instructor and am going to be working as an assistant instructor for the local community college in their EMS department.
I will be training Alaska railroad employees CPR/first aid tuesday and assisting train Alaska Fish and Game employees in wilderness first aid next month.
Mech. Eng. running a processing equipment manufacturing company. Added chemical supplies to our business a couple years ago. Selling commodities is sure easier than installing and maintaining equipment (but we still do both). Also have a couple of internet businesses. Fairly flexible schedule when not on travel, as long as I have internet access!
