So damn true. Until you actually start measuring them, if pretty hard to guess. People just throw numbers around for sure haha. Here’s a 266” bull, inside the rack of a 296” bull. Still not 300” hahaha. The 266” bull was 4 years old and the 296” was 9 years old. Check out just the difference in skull size also. Pretty cool.

Great bulls by the way! I'd shoot both of them any day!

Hard to believe the right is 155
Eh it’s a super good buck, but a 3x4 with a really weak front fork makes it kind of believable, I stand by that mule deer scoring doesn’t account for maturity or wow factor than any other animal scoring. There are some really cool bucks that just don’t score well

Haven’t scored him yet, but I would guess he is 150ish range… I may be off though

I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about apparently after looking through this thread but if that’s a 150 with all that mass then sign me up for 150s the rest of my life
Exactly! Mass on the individual tines themselves adds nothing to the actual score unfortunately. But that's a freaking awesome buck!

162" gross

Just goes to show you can't tell crap from pictures.
Damn I guess!! At quick glance looked like he had maybe 13" G2's and 18" main beams. But now that you say it, his G2's look probably 15". I'm still way off somewhere haha.
