What do you do with your Ivory

I plan on having rings, necklaces, and earrings made for my wife and girls. If I ever have the money to do it.

I put them in a jar.

I tanned an elk scrotum and I keep the ivories in there.

Toss them in the tray with a few other trinkets.


And yes, I guess there is a dead moth in the tray as well. Lmao

I tanned one sack and filled it. Others in a container and pack around for luck my bulls from 2013

1. Forget to remove them and toss it with the skull.

2. Put them on my reloading bench and leave them until they get lost.

I am literally exactly the same haha. I don’t think I’ve pulled them from my last couple of bulls. And the last few sets have just sat on a shelf in my reloading room.

But my sister-in-law’s dog ate her husband’s ivories from him first elk. But he didn’t know yet, so I just gave her a set that I had laying around to swap them out to save her the trouble of an explanation lol.
