I last check my throat at 82 shots, so I checked the other day at 432; looks like I burned away .100" in the last 350 rounds. I figured it was time to move the bullet out and start over. I'm now at 4.045" OAL to the lands in a 7 STW and 195's, which gets the boat tail jct above the neck/shoulder. I backed off the lands by .020" and loaded one each from 77 to 83gr of N570 and shot at 100. Impacts went from right to left and I think I'll load up 3 ea from 80-82 and see if it repeats. I didn't see any pressure or have a heavy bolt.
Loaded thirty 06 cases last night cuz bought a rail for the 110 Savage and changing the scope so needed ammo to sight in. Used 50 grains of W748 cuz I have a lot and saving the IMR 4350 for hunting ammo. I used federal 150 grain pull down bullets.
Neck sized and fully prepped 50 .280 Rem cases on Norma once fired brass and then neck sized and fully prepped 60 rounds of 7 Rem mag on Norma once fired brass.
