Helped setup 2 new reloader's stuff and taught them the how's and why's. Daughter got into it as well. They prepped and loaded 50 rounds.

Loaded up and tested some 300 WSM trying to find clickers. Just bought an Eric Cortina die to size near the .200 line down more. Forster die wasn’t sizing enough down that far. 20 rounds no clickers and super easy bolt lift

I loaded some load dev rounds for .223ai, 22-250ai and 6ARC. Then I cleaned my reloading room a bit, painted a stock and cleaned my gear room a bit. My kids were in and out of the reloading room all day with me, watching TV in there and helping me with little projects.

finished loading 50 rounds for my 22 hornet, 33gr hammer bullets.

I reloaded 93.5 +/- .2 for validation.
338 Edge
ADG brass, H1k and F215Ms.
Average velocity is 2912 and 2915 with am ES of 11 and 13 with respectively.

Groups were 1.1 and 1.2 at 300.
I then took 3 the remaining sighters at 93.5 and fired at 600. I didnt compensate for the 10 mph wind from the right. I came up 10.75 with AB calling for 10.88. I'm less than .5 high on Average at 100 and about 1 inch low at 300 per AB.

I may do some fine tuning with neck tension or seating depth if time allows. Likely will spend more time validating at 600 as this is good enough to hunt.

Loaded up some rounds for velocity testing in the 7-08. The recipe for my 18" Tikka was 46.7 gr (Hodgdon book max is 47.8) SB 6.5 and a 162 ELDX. Brass was Alpha with CCI LRP, and seating depth was 2.255 base to ogive with OAL of 2.925. This is slightly deeper than the BT case neck junction to avoid the lands. I measured 5 rounds, and the results are below.

5- 2696

Avg- 2703
SD- 13
ES- 34

I had extractor swipes on all 5 cases, and the primer popped out on #2. I recall one of the primers kind of "crunching" in while I was priming, and I've since been more careful making sure the case is firmly seated/aligned in the shellholder when priming every round (reason 100 not to get in a hurry at the bench). Without #2 above, the numbers would've looked very good, and I'm going to double the sample size next time to improve statistical validity. The 5 shot group at 100 was right at an inch with a group of 3 touching, and a second pair touching as well, and mirage was messing with me. Due to pressure signs, the next round will be at 46.5 gr SB 6.5, and I'll post the results.

Got a lot of pistol rounds to load up.

Ordered another 1000 LRP and also managed to get ahold of some LRM primers as well.

Got in some 357 Mag brass
and some rotors for my pistol powder measurer.

Loaded 40 rounds of .22arc with 88gr eld-m, Lapua once fired brass and CCI 450 primers.

10 are 30.1 grs. N550.
10 are 30.4 grs. N550.

10 are 29.5 grs. LeverEvolution.
10 are 29.8 grs. LeverEvolution.

Used a Lee Six Pack Pro and weighed the charges with an AutoTrikler V4.

Thanks to all the folks on here that have helped me remedy process issues at the bench. I was only planning to shoot 12, but the Magneto Sport captured a 300 and a 3800 that I excluded from the sample. Can't wait to get a Garmin...

Range was 100 yards.

Killer shooting. Just my humble opinion, but if you were getting swipes and popped a primer at .2 grains above where you’re at, you’re still in the pressure zone. With SB6.5, you might be playing with fire in terms of when that pressure might show itself again (hot day, over trickle, etc). Would hate to get a bigger issue on a day when you’re trying to shoot a critter.

But I’m no expert on the topic.

Thank you and I appreciate the feedback. All of the load dev for this rifle has been on hot Iowa summer days with high humidity, so hopefully temp. influence has already showed itself. If its 80+ degrees with 60+% humidity in WY on 11/23, we've got bigger problems! J/K and thanks again.
