Spring Canada vs Maine Fall

Okay, guys, what is your opinion on a Spring hunt in Canada over bait versus a Fall hunt in Maine over bait? Which is better and why?

I believe you can take 2 bears in Canada.

Couldn't tell you. But Canada can take 2 bears. Im going to be in Canada in 2027 for bear.

The spring bears might be a bit smaller but they won't have some of the rubs in the coats that some fall bears have.

Is there a single state that can rival any of the provinces for bear numbers ? If you have the chance to go to BC and hunt bears it’ll be once in a lifetime. The bears are huge. Lots of colour phase bears.

though since you said bait I’ll assume it’s Alberta which is almost as good.

Try for a spot and stalk bear hunt in BC they are amazing.

Will be an absolute blast for you. Coastal bears or interior bears ? Tonnes of color phase in the interior. Lots of black bears with crescent moon chests on the coasts.
