What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

How many people have sold, traded in, or re-chambered their larger caliber rifles for a smaller caliber? I imagine the cost of going to a smaller caliber is keeping some people from making the switch but I’d imagine in a few years the number of 30 cal and magnum rifles sold/offered will be much lower than the .22/.24/6mm/6.5mm if it’s not already. I wonder what will it take for the mainstream masses to see the benefits.
You'll continue to see it here, and maybe a few other places where people are interested in realism and data, but the majority of hunters aren't on Rokslide and I suspect the traditional ideology will continue to be passed down for generations.
