Bunch of folks on rokslide swear you can take any game up to polar bear, or is it rhino? Reliably with a 223. If energy really doesn't matter, why don't you just build the most accurate 6 mm made?
6 PPC. SAKO used to make one and they're highly sought after. You can just shoot quarters at 300 yd for entertainment and laugh at everybody else's groups that suck. And yes I'm serious.
