What buck are you taking?

I find myself saying that I would shoot the 4x5 because I love 4x4 mainframes. However I think that has got me into trouble before. I think that 3x4 is a bigger buck.

3x4, bigger body, bigger frame, to my eye he looks to be the more mature buck. 4x5 isn’t a slacker either but the other buck makes him look like a dwarf

I said...BANG...basically instantly on the first buck...But given sitting there looking at them side by side probably the 3x4.

As a side note, I think it’s pretty important to have other deer around, especially other bucks when gauging size/ score. Yes we can all tell that forkie is a dink but sometimes you see small bodied deer with decent looking antlers and they go like 140, but they will look tiny next to a bigger bodied buck

Unless I worried about hunting pressure I’m going to keep looking for a while and hope those bucks don’t go anywhere. If I had to choose I would shoot the 4x5.
